Estate Planning
Let’s be honest: the very phrase “estate planning” freaks a lot of folks out. Some people think estate planning is only for folks with a lot of money. That makes sense! I mean just using the word “estate” summons images of butlers, fox hunts and getting changed for high tea.
Really though? Nothing could be further from the truth. Estate planning is for everyone, no matter how big (or how small) their “estate” may be. But most folks won’t come close to doing this important work. Sometimes they don’t know where to start. Sometimes, they don’t like thinking about the fact that they will die one day (I get it, I really do!) Most folks I work with make this out to be a really big deal and so they are overwhelmed before they even start, which can derail the whole project. Great news: it’s really not as scary (or hard) as you might think.
So why not set aside a few minutes right now to tackle the one thing everyone can do quickly, easily, and at virtually no cost to be sure you won’t leave a mess when you’re gone?

Funeral Director Questions
There was a bunch of stuff that used to drive me crazy about working in a funeral home every day. One of the toughest things about this job is that I was constantly meeting people who had absolutely NO idea about “what happens when you die” and they needed to learn all that while in the midst of some of the worst grief they had ever experienced.
Let me tell you, when you’ve experienced a loss—and I really mean ANY loss, even if it was one you’d been expecting— this is NOT a good time to make important decisions. Decisions that will likely impact your grief journey, mourning process, and ceremony options. Decisions that will certainly impact your pocketbook.
It breaks my heart when someone meets a funeral director for the first time when they need to meet a funeral director. Please don’t let this happen to you.
So why not set aside a few minutes right now to answer these 2 important questions!
Legacy Projects
We all leave a legacy (even if we don’t mean to). A legacy project is a chance to be intentional about the way you live in the world, as well as the way you leave it.
Don’t let the word “project” deter you: this workbook will walk you through 3 manageable tasks that anyone can complete (sometimes in just minutes!)
Why not set aside a some time right now to tuck away a meaningful legacy project for the folks who matter most in your world?
Medical Advocacy
Most of us know (maybe even just anecdotally) that our healthcare system is strained at the moment. As North America’s population continues to age, that strain is only getting worse.
By next year, there will be a greater percentage of people over the age of 65 than at any other time in the history of the world! No matter how old you are today, this reality WILL affect your ability to access quality healthcare in your future.
What this means is that we will all need to take greater responsibility for our own health needs in the future. It means that we are going to have to become empowered healthcare consumers (yes, we are indeed consuming healthcare, even if we live somewhere that we don’t usually pay out of pocket to access it).
This guide will introduce to the concept of medical advocacy. Remember advocate has two pronunciations: you can advocate for yourself, and you can have an advocate to help you get your voice heard. To get the care we may one day need, we’ll need both!
Why not set aside some time right now to learn about how to be a better Medical Advocate.
