Death’s Apprentice Education & Planning
Effective: January 1 2025
Last updated: July 1 2025
Welcome to Death’s Apprentice Education & Planning. By registering for a course, booking a consultation, or hiring us for a speaking engagement, you agree to the following terms. These help us maintain clear expectations and respectful relationships with everyone we serve.
Payment & Registration
Payment is due in full at the time of registration or booking for all offerings, including courses, workshops, one-on-one consulting, and public speaking.
All prices are listed in Canadian dollars (CAD) and include applicable taxes, unless otherwise stated.
Refunds & Credits
We do not offer refunds for missed sessions, cancellations, or withdrawals.
In some cases, we may issue a credit toward future programming if you contact us in advance with a valid reason. This is assessed on a case-by-case basis.
Credits are non-transferable and must be used within 12 months of the original booking.
If We Have to Cancel
If we must cancel or reschedule an event, session, or engagement due to unforeseen circumstances, you’ll be offered:
A spot in a rescheduled session,
A credit toward a future offering, or
A full refund of any fees paid.
Please note: We’re not responsible for any outside costs (like travel or time off work) related to a cancelled event.
1:1 Consulting & Custom Speaking Engagements
Individual and group consulting sessions, as well as public speaking engagements, fall under these same terms unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Please connect with us ahead of time if you have specific accessibility needs, travel logistics, or co-hosted event requirements.

Respect & Conduct
We aim to create inclusive, trauma-informed learning spaces. We reserve the right to remove any participant from a session or program without refund if their behaviour is harmful, disruptive, or in violation of community expectations.
